About aws cloud solutions
AWS offers the broadest service catalogue of any provider, which is both its strength and the source of most cost problems. The same workload can be built a dozen ways at wildly different operating costs.
Managed services over self-hosting
Running your own database, queue, or search cluster on EC2 is almost always more expensive once engineering time is counted. We default to managed services and self-host only where a specific requirement demands it.
Well-Architected review
We assess existing environments against the AWS Well-Architected pillars — operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, and cost — and produce a prioritised remediation list rather than an undifferentiated audit dump.
Serverless where it fits
Lambda and managed services suit spiky, event-driven workloads and can be dramatically cheaper than always-on capacity. For sustained high-throughput workloads, containers are usually more economical. We model both against your traffic profile.
What the engagement includes
Well-Architected review
Assessment across all five pillars with prioritised actions.
Migration to AWS
Phased migration with rollback plans at each stage.
Serverless & container workloads
Lambda, ECS, or EKS chosen on traffic and cost modelling.
Cost optimisation
Right-sizing, storage tiering, and commitment planning.
What you get
The measurable results this service is accountable for.
- Lower operating cost through managed services
- Prioritised Well-Architected remediation
- Workload placement modelled on real traffic
- Environments reproducible via Terraform
- Reserved and savings plans matched to usage
A process without surprises
Clear checkpoints at every stage, so you always know what is shipping and when.
- 1
Discovery & scoping
We map requirements, users, integrations, and constraints, then agree scope and a fixed quote before work starts.
- 2
Architecture & design
Technical architecture and user flows are agreed and prototyped before implementation begins.
- 3
Build & review
Development in reviewable increments, with a staging environment you can see and comment on throughout.
- 4
Launch & support
Performance and security checks, documented handover, deployment, and an agreed support window after go-live.
What is included at each tier
Engagements scale with your stage. Every tier includes everything below it.
| What's included | Starter | Growth | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Well-Architected review | Included | Included | Included |

Sectors we work in
We default to managed services and model serverless against containers on your real traffic, rather than applying a fixed pattern.
