About branding & logo design
A logo is not a brand, but it is the part everyone judges. It has to work at sixteen pixels in a browser tab and on a building, in full colour and in single-colour print, on light and dark backgrounds.
Positioning before visuals
Good identity work starts with what the organisation actually is and who it serves. Without that, design review becomes a series of personal preferences with no criteria for resolving them.
A system, not a single mark
We deliver a system: primary and secondary marks, a favicon-scale variant, clear-space and minimum-size rules, colour palettes with accessible pairings, and typography with defined hierarchy. Real-world application needs all of these, and identities that supply only a logo fragment on first contact with reality.
Accessible colour from the outset
Brand palettes frequently fail contrast requirements, which forces awkward compromises later in product design. We check accessible pairings during palette development and document which combinations are safe for text.
